Suzanne reported that domain name ownership for the NASC website has been transferred to her name.

Jeremiah reported in information gathered for a potential seed bank.
A discussion on seed bank policies and procedures followed.
A Policy and Procedures draft for a seed bank will will be compiled by the Board and reviewed/appended via email; Board members are to consider ideas and submit them.

Noah reported that work has begun on the coming newsletter.  Articles are still required!

Mark reported that he has received permission to look for CP sites in another location.

Jonathan reported that the minutes have been updated and some changes have been made to the layout of the archive system.

Dave reported that he has been contacted by an organization regarding plants; will be looking in to contacts.

Dave reported that NASC reimbursements for NASC projects will be sent out shortly. Dave is working on his NECPS article for the newsletter.

Jeremiah reported nothing new.

Mark reported that pictures have been taken to accompany an article to be written concerning this year's drought in North Carolina and its effects on carnivorous plants.

Suzanne will continue work on the NASC website. No replies have been received yet.

A discussion was held on the formation of a seed bank for NASC members. Jeremiah will be writing up a draft of a seed bank policy and procedures for the board.

A discussion was held on ways to get in contact with botanical gardens and establish mutually beneficial relationships with other institutions.

Newsletter articles are due as soon as possible.

Mark reported no new activity.

Arthur lead a discussion on the NASC website. The website will require updates in the future for accessibility for those updating the site; the site may be recreated using PHP.

Jonathan reported that minutes will be updated.

Dave received new membership applications. DVDs will continue to be sold.

Mike reported that he will be talking to Phil Crane this weekend. Mike requested an updated NASC flier for free CP program for the public at Jesse Jones Park on October 20. Also, Mike will be writing an article for the newsletter. Work will begin collecting the NASC collection's seeds for the year.

Suzanne will be sending out emails regarding NASC website payment.

Noah reported that work has begun on the newsletter, and that articles are needed.

Mike reported that the NASC plants in the greenhouse are doing well. Larger plants have been moved outside making room for seedlings inside. Mike requested approval of funds for purchasing heat packs for shipping plants in the winter.

Dave reported on the happenings at the NECPS show.

Jonathan reported that updates will be made to the minutes. An article will be worked on for the upcoming newsletter.
