Fantastic 2008 auction results

With your great generosity donating items to the NASC Benefit Auction, we were able to meet our goal of $1500 designated for the The Nature Conservancy's (TNC) campaign to raise money to purchase an additional parcel of land at Splinter Hill Bog in Alabama. This bog has valuable wetland plants including many varieties of Sarracenia.

It is with great pride we are also announcing that NASC, as an organization, is MATCHING FUNDS with the Auction donation to make a grand total of a $3,000 donation to TNC of Alabama for Splinter Hill.

2008 auction donors list

Once again all of us here at NASC would like to thank all the people who contributed to the 2008 Auction, especially the donors without whom we could not have raised the money to help Splinter Hill Bog Preserve.

Big thanks goes to Raccoon Ridge Nursery for donating the most, and FlyTrapShop & TerraForums for hosting the auction once again.
