Business:

• The small group discusses auction threads and corrects those in need of moderation.
• A database will be set up to keep track of donations for Save A Flytrap Project. This will ensure donations to the project and donations to NASC remain separate.
• More members and guests have joined us so we continued the meeting, mostly talking about the Auction.

• The benefit auction seems to be going really well so far! We are all excited.
• The group discusses financial information and happenings as well as more transparency with NASC funds.
• Emily and Ryan suggest making another member of NASC at large however the motion to nominate has been put off until we have enough board members present for a vote.

Business:

• Fire in the Lakes went really well despite the not so favorable weather. Everyone had a great time and we met a lot of interested people. And Heather got to see carnivorous plants in the wild for the first time!
• It is almost auction time!! The NASC Benefit Auction 2013 on Terra Forums starts in just a few days on March 30th until April 13th.
• Mark and The Nature Conservancy will be meeting to talk about poaching problems.

• The official beneficiary of the NASC Benefit Auction 2013 hosted on Terra Forums will be Old Dock, NC.
• Emily and Ryan talk website issues while the rest of us listen with confused looks on our faces.
• The group gets excited about Fire on the Lakes Saturday!! If you are around Boiling Spring Lakes, NC come see Mark, Vic, Sheila and Heather!!
• Mark talks about a rise in poaching in a few areas.

• The group discussed long and hard about the contenders for beneficiary. We have worked out a plan depending how much is earned from the NASC Benefit Auction 2013 on Terra Forums. It was put to a vote and our primary beneficiary for the Benefit Auction will be Old Dock, NC.
